The Northern Ontario Grow Bonds Corporation will be dissolved on May 1, 2012

The Northern Ontario Grow Bonds Corporation will officially wind up its operations effective May 1, 2012. The Province will continue to manage unredeemed bonds after this date.

Inquiries regarding how to redeem your Northern Ontario Grow Bonds can be made to the Province at 1-866-668-5437.


Northern Ontario Grow Bonds -- Maturity Notice

Please note that on April 11, 2010 the Northern Ontario Grow Bonds, Series 2005-1 matured. Interest ceased to accrue on these series of bonds effective April 11, 2010.

Registered holders of the bonds are able to receive payment of the principal amount of the Northern Ontario Grow Bonds by taking the certificate to a bank or other financial institution in Canada which is a member of the Canadian Payments Association (CPA), and endorsing the back of the Payment Instrument so that it can be processed according to applicable CPA rules in effect at that time.
